     Items for sale are new and used building materials donated to Habitat for Humanity by individuals and businesses. Prices for these recycled items are generally 50-75% of retail cost with proceeds going towards building more Habitat houses.

      Our use of the ReStore facility is a valuable contribution to the success of LAHFH. The $319,000 that was raised during the last fiscal year helping them build more homes and kept almost one million pounds of material from the landfill.

William - this is the kind of recyling that really makes sense.  I would like to see the Work to Serve and Teen Challenge get involved as well.

This is recycling at its finest - keep it out of the dump and use the funds to help others.

I do a lot of "recycling" through Freecycle and the like but I would absolutely LOVE to find the time to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity.  That would be beyond cool to me.
