I do not usually post jokes on my blog, but needed a little humor to share after a trying day at the office.

As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang. Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, "Herman, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on 280 Interstate. Please be careful!"
"It's not just one car," said Herman. "There are hundreds of them!"

The whole office is cracking up now -see what you have done - we want more.
Kathleen, thats a daily event here in Florida :-) BTW what kind of horse is that? What a beautiful face!
Terry - that is a Shire - a big beast for sure, but a gentle one. My youngest warmblood got a bad cut so am going out to give him a tetanus shot ahortly now that my Hubby is home with a fresh one.
Kathleen, I was going to say it was something like a shire. That nose is very distinctive. But I'm not a very good judge of horseflesh, so usually keep my ideas to myself. BTW I took my grandkids to an equestrian event a couple of weeks ago and one of the events was the "walking event." The first entry was a four year old boy, who did a pretty good job of handling the horse, his dad was walking beside him. At one point his dad corrected him and he started to cry and throw a fit. It was just too cute for words!
I haven't shown for a few years but had started at our club dressage shows - stick horse events for the little kids who weren't riding or were just attending the show. They cantered around, walked and trotted on their pretend mounts. It was great fun for all. My two girls started riding at about 4 in shows and still ride today in their early 20's. Just recreational for us at the moment - hopefully showing again for me at least, I love it.
