Kathleen,

I love your choices!  Right now I would settle for a light bulb...that's right a light bulb!  I took whatever I had, and then some (right out of my bedroom lamps) to my staging job the other day. I shopped all day today and completely forgot to buy some!  Ah, the glamorous life of a Home Stager!

Kathleen, WHY do you have to constantly remind me you have horses and I don't? :-)  You might want to change the brand of water you like, Aquafind is tap water.  You can get that for free at the sink.  Here is my list of luxurious items I like to come home to:

No horse (thanks for constantly reminding me)

BEER

Dog

BEER

Cats

BEER

BEER

BEER

BEER

Nighlight so I don't have any bumps in the night after drinking BEER

Terry - I almost spit my coffee out on the screen reading your post.  You crack me up.

Kathleen - that's a great list of luxuries.  As for the orchids - I can't keep one alive for the life of me.  What's the trick?

Terry dear would that be tap beer vs tap water?

Kathy - Don't over water - 1x/week is all I do with maybe a spash if it is really dry. Good light but not harsh direct , a little food for orchids on occasion.

Probably as easy as taking care of Terry.

Kathleen - I have been referred to as an easy keeper in the past!  I think that term is used in the horse world, non?  And gee I never thought of having beer on tap in my house!  I don't think I can find my brand though.

Kathy - orchids grow on trees here in Florida.  Keep that in mind when tending yours.  They are easy keepers.  The easiest way to keep from over watering is to make sure you can remove the orchid from the pot, put it in a pan with about a half inch of water and let it set for a while.  Once a week is plenty.  Orchids get most of their moisture by absorbing it from the air through exposed roots when growing outside, so those of us who keep potted ones outside have a special basket type pot that allows the roots to dangle in the air.  And if you want really easy, there are some really nice fake ones on the market now.

Terry.

We do quietly refer to some of our horses as easy keepers because....shhhhhh,,,,,,,. they are chubby!

Chubby?  Hmmmmm, not me, but the beer could get me there.  And thanks again for reminding me that you have horses and I do not!

Great list...I can see the commercial now...

I also use Egyptian towels, play Billy Holiday when soaking in the tub, and sip on Kahlua.

I cannot wait for Melinda Dolittle to come out with her CD...she will replace Billy...and I have just added Josh Stone. (spelling?)
