Christian Motto: Be Prepared - part 1

I Peter 3:15

    "But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."

    What do you say to someone who asks you about your Christian Faith?  Can you explain clearly and completely, who Jesus is and why your relationship with him gives you eternal hope and freedom?

    Peter encouraged believers to live in such a way that others would be drawn to them and ask questions.  He stressed that they should have an answer ready for everyone who asked.

Kathleen...if for no othe reason...hope for a time in an after life.  To many things have happened to me that just can't be explained.  Without hope...what's the use...

With Christ, we have hope -  without Christ, no hope - hope is good William provided that is is placed in the ONE who can deliver.

Kathleen, Witnessing is becoming a large part of my life, quite often you just have to let the Lord lead the way. Even when you don't know what to say he does.

Kathleen- I hope that I can always be guided by the Lord. I hope he will always show me a sign and the way. I try to pass the love of the Lord to someone everyday.

How can anyone apart from the Lord even function?  Give Him each day and let Him go before you and work through you.  Our daily life is a witness without saying anything.  Joan

Hi Kathleen -- it is always the question we love to answer, and we often explain our Christian Motto by how we deal with adversity and how we react to times of plenty.  In adversity we say we believe and we are calm because Our Lord is always with us.  In times of plenty, we say thank you, Lord, give our tithe, and then share our good fortune with others.  Thanks for the post, and God bless you!
