And You Thought Bobbing For Apples Was Fun!!!

marshmallow    Remember the days of playing "bobbing for apples"? This Japanese  game show has taken such childish games to new levels. They test skills of flexibility and strength - combined with tasty cuisine. In footage never seen before in the country of America , these teams battle it out for unknown prizes and the esteem of their fellow countrymen and the admiration of women. If you are a little tired of your basic and boring party games, be sure to watch this video for a new one or just watch for a good laugh. In these slow times, you could always form teams and practice in the office.

Hi Kathleen:  I watched the video, but I think it would be much more fun if we could get Pat Zajac and Vanna White to do this.  See what you can do, ok ?  Thanks for sharing.

How funny is that?  My husband actually watches these stupid TV shows already.  I'll show this to him when he wakes up today.  He'll probably laugh himself into an asthma attack..... lol.... .  Thanks for sharing!

I guess it wouldn't appeal to everyone, but we want to set up some novel and fun games for our youth group and this will be one.

I e-mailed it to my girls . One for her college group and the other one is a youth group leader - they would certainly have fun doing this.

Kathleen, is that why the Japanese have slanted eyes? (-:  But seriously, whenever we go to Universal Studios and the Japanese are there, we have the best time because they are having the best time.  They know how to let go and just play.  As an aside, I couldn't enter that contest because of the marshmallows.  They have gelatin in them and we know where that comes from don't we?

Terry, I know I know  the answer - gelatin comes from gelly fish.

Shoot no smores for you.

How funny!  Was that a bungee cord they were using?  It looked somewhat painful after they let go.  But man, their faces were priceless!  I'm going to have to figure out a variation on this for the next birthday party!  Thanks for sharing!
