SHHHHH ~ HE IS SLEEEPING...READ QUIETLY
We are all uniquely made and have our own personal strengths and weaknesses. We need to recognize what we proficient in and what things we really are not good at. There is a point where you need to accept yourself, as you are. There is also a time to strengthen your weaknesses. First, you need to be able to recognize them. In business, we may be able to assign someone else that task ( i.e. - hire an accountant) or we need to study, practice and improve.
"Integrate what you believe into every single area of your life. Take your heart to work, and ask the most and best of everybody else too. Don't let your special character and values - the secret that you know and no one else does, the truth - get swallowed up by...complacency."
~Meryl Streep, 13-time Academy Award-nominated actress
complacency - A feeling of contentment or self-satisfaction, especially when coupled with an unawareness of danger, trouble, or controversy.

Kathleen,
I hear what you're saying, and I agree. What we all need is a little more Heart!
By the way, is that man okay?
wow -- my mind will be a puzzle now for a day or two -- I am such a dreamer, out of the box thinker, constantly doing reality checks (half heartedly) cause I like making "new" reality, seeing things different ways; taking every negative and finding the positive ( even if it pales by comparison) I have joy in finding it.
so, what's the definition of this word you all are speaking of,"complacency"? Must not be in my vocabulary!
Great post, my friend, Kathy! Bet you don't use that word either!
mmmm, complacency - never mind being unaware of danger, it's dangerous in itself!
