Pastor Kara and Eric Craine will be leaving their ministry positions at the Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter, Minnesota.  Kara's last day as Music Pastor will be June 10th, 2007. She and her husband Eric, have dedicated 6 years of service to all those at Heritage and to the surrounding communities.

Kara is the Worship Leader, Choir Director, coordinator of special music and ensembles, and director of numerous productions including her last one , the" Freedom Celebration" honoring service personnel.

A gifted musician playing both piano and violin, she can sing too.  Although expecting the couple's first child in a few months, she worked tirelessly on the memorial weekend production pulling together lighting, sound. and several video productions.

Eric has spent many hours in past years building sets, appearing in productions and working with the sound system.  He was a Jr. High class Sunday School teacher and he and Kara were Youth Sponsors.  Kara's pre-teen group called themselves the  Super Chicks.

The Craine's will be missed in their leadership positions but everyone is looking forward to welcoming Baby Craine.  They should  have no trouble finding child care.

I'm truly saddened that the two (and a half) of you are leaving the church. I fell blessed to have even known you Pastor Kara and I'm impressed by how you "kept it real" while leading the choir. I love that you never let us lose sight of God while we worked on the semantics of a song. My prayer for you is found in Ephesians 3:20. I pray that you will truly receive more than you ask for and that the work of God will always be in you.

I am Thrilled to watch you soar in this next chapter of life! Parenting is one of the most exciting and challenging changes that's happened to Loren and myself and I'm excited for you both. I can't wait to share in your music and the amazing Gift God's given you and to know that because you were so good at creating relationships.... so many of them do not stop simply because of your vocation... but they continue because of who you are in our lives... In my life.  Best wishes to you both.

It's been fun and you've taught me a lot about music over the years. I envy your piano-playing ability -- it seems so effortless! I remember being a little upset with what you wanted us to wear one time, when you wanted us all white and bare foot! I asked if you knew what overweight people look like in white! And I rememeber Joan Wileman saying she may need to tape insoles to her arches with duct tape!

As I've always told you, YOU made us good! Thanks for the fun, and blessing on you, Eric and the new addition.
