Emily will be performing her talent and showing off her Miss Minnesota pageant wardrobe tonight June 11th. 2009. This will be held in the cafeteria on the South Campus of the Brainerd, Minnesota High School at 6 PM.. Also performing their Talent pieces will be two of our area's Minnesota's Outstanding Teen Contestants. They are Bailey Wachholtz and Emma Hilgart. Everyone is invited to come and ask these young women some tough questions about life, about their platforms, about anything. They will all soon be standing before a panel of judges doing the same thing and the more experience they get - the better.
We wish them well in their endeavors and want to give them a great send off into this adventure. It will be stressful, it will be fun, it will be challenging.

Kathleen...should be a fun night for them and everyone else. It takes a lot of work for these young ladies and most people have no idea.
William, They read the newspapers every day, watch the news, volunteer in our local communities and work with service organizations - to get a good feel for the real world and what is happening out there. They will make great informed adults with servants' hearts.

The send off went well. Emily is already at the Miss MN pageant for a whirlwind week of activities and practices and pageant on Fri with the finals on Sat. Bailey and Emma leave tomorrow for the Minnesota's Outstanding Teen activities and their pageant on Th.
I have a closing tomorrow and my youngest daughter flies in from FL. We have a few things to get done and then off to the cities for the pageants.
